My name is Lucas, and today the purpose of this video is to show you how to properly use an online English grammar checker. The website will help you eliminate your grammar errors from a text. But also understand how to avoid it in the future, for free. I’ve been studying human science for two years at Ahuntsic College. It is mainly a political science course and there is a huge diversity of disciplines offered. My profile which is society and environment, prepares you for a wide diversity of academic careers in which you will need to understand the connection between humans and their physical or social environment. The discipline I’m the most interested in in this program is economics. With this, I will apply to a university in finance to eventually end up in financial law as a lawyer.

The Problem

As a financial lawyer, it is crucial to understand the financial terms to masterly defend your cause and explain it to the client. And that may be a challenge because there is a lot of technical terms in finance. So if I want my clients or colleagues to take my work seriously, I need to write the words correctly.

So let's get started and by opening a new tab on your current web page. Then in the address bar, you will put the URL of the website which, is www.virtualwritingtutorial.com. Once the page is open, in the top right corner of the screen there is some social media icon where you can click and share everything with your friends. In the top left corner of the screen you can see the website logo. Right under the logo, there is the navigation menu if you need to navigate through the website. In the middle of the screen is the text area. This is the part where you can add the text to be checked and correct.

The Solution

Then you click on ‘check essay’ which can be found under the navigation menu. It will open a new window and on the right hand on the screen using the scroll bar you will go all the wat down and il it explain the nature of the mistakes. You can close the window and you will see under your mistakes that is it underline in red or yellow. At the bottom of the text area you can click on the speaker if you want to hear it so you can say it correctly and alse, you can open your text in a work format once everything is corrected.

The Conclusion

In overhaul, it is a great tool for whoever wants to create an essay and persuade their reader. It is easy to use, and there are some words and jargon that only a specific field uses, and Virtual Writing Tutor helps people outside of specific fields know these words through the field-related vocabulary checker tool. The Chat in the bottom right corner of the screen is irrelevant because it won't help you with a specific problem. If you need help, you have to wait to speak with a human. Also, it is not compatible with the android system. So if you have an Android you must work from a computer.
